The INA3221 is a specialized integrated circuit (IC) designed to monitor and measure current and voltage across three channels. It’s particularly useful in applications where precise monitoring of power consumption is required. The INA3221 can simultaneously measure current and voltage across three independent channels.
Gain precise insights into power usage with the INA3221 3-Channel Current and Voltage Sensor. Monitor multiple channels in real-time and receive alerts for efficient power management. Enhance your projects with this invaluable tool!
The INA3221 is a three-channel, high-side current and bus voltage monitor with an I2C- and SMBUS-compatible interface. The INA3221 monitors both shunt voltage drops and bus supply voltages, in addition to having programmable conversion times and averaging modes for these signals. The 3 Channel Current and Voltage Sensor offers both critical and warning alerts to detect multiple programmable out-of-range conditions for each channel.
It uses a shunt resistor to measure the voltage drop across it, which is proportional to the current passing through it. It measures the voltage at the positive terminal of each channel with respect to the common ground. The 3 3-channel current and Voltage Sensor is designed for high-precision measurements, making it suitable for applications where accuracy is crucial.
It communicates with a microcontroller or other devices through the I2C (Inter-Integrated Circuit) interface, allowing for easy integration into digital systems. The 3 Channel Current and Voltage Sensor have selectable I2C addresses, allowing multiple INA3221 sensors to be used on the same bus.
It allows the user to select the conversion time, allowing for trade-offs between accuracy and power consumption. The 3 Channel Current and Voltage Sensor can generate an alert signal if a programmed threshold for current or voltage is exceeded, making it suitable for protection circuits.
It can operate with a wide supply voltage range, typically from 2.7V to 5.5V. It features internal temperature sensors to compensate for changes in measurement accuracy due to temperature variations. It helps optimize power usage by providing accurate measurements, allowing for efficient system design.
The 3 Channel Current and Voltage Sensor acts as a current shunt monitor, which is vital in applications where precise current measurement is essential. The INA3221 is commonly used in various applications such as battery management systems, power supply monitoring, and motor control.
The INA3221 Sensor allows you to monitor current and voltage across three separate channels simultaneously. This precision instrument provides accurate measurements, making it an essential tool for projects that require detailed power consumption analysis.
With the INA3221, you can access real-time data about the power usage of your devices. Set custom thresholds and receive alerts when power levels exceed specified limits. This feature is invaluable for maintaining the health and efficiency of your systems.
Designed for seamless integration, the INA3221 is compatible with a wide range of microcontrollers. Its compact form factor and simple interface make it suitable for both beginners and experienced engineers looking to enhance their power management capabilities.
